Questions

Do you provide books?

No. Book in Hour is a tool. You upload books you own, and we turn them into audio for you. We do not sell or host a catalog of books.

Are my books private?

Yes. Your books stay yours. They are never shared with other users and never published. You can delete them, or your whole account, at any time. Details are in the Privacy page.

Which formats work?

EPUB for now. Books protected by DRM cannot be read by the app.

Which devices?

iPhone first, Android right after. Both store buttons above turn into links as soon as the apps are live.

Is it a summary or the full book?

It is a retelling written for listening, not a word-for-word reading. Choose 10 minutes, 1 hour or the full-length version. An AI makes mistakes sometimes, so it does not replace the book where accuracy matters.

How do voice questions work?

Pause, press the button on the screen or on your headphones, and ask. The app turns your speech into text, the answer is written from the book and read aloud, and the story resumes.

How much does it cost?

The first 3 episodes are free. After that, $1.99 per book or $9.99 per month for 11 books.
