Delete your account

You can delete your Book in Hour account and everything in it yourself. It takes less than a minute and cannot be undone.

In the app

Open Book in Hour, go to Settings, tap Delete account and confirm.

What is deleted

All books you uploaded, with the text we extracted and the retellings and audio we generated.
Your questions and the answers you got.
Your account record, and the sign-in account itself (Apple, Google, e-mail or guest).
If you used Sign in with Apple, we also revoke the link between your Apple ID and Book in Hour.

Nothing is kept. Books in the shared library are not yours and stay. Anonymous usage statistics carry no name or e-mail and cannot be tied back to you. Purchase records stay with Apple or Google; cancel a subscription in your store account.

No app on hand?

Write to [email protected] from the e-mail address of your account, and we will delete everything within 30 days.
